Section 9

From Klepp you cycle along the sea and beaches on Nord-Jæren via Randaberg and to lovely Kvitsøy, Norway's smallest municipality in terms of area. Along the way, you can choose to cycle to, among other things, vibrant and urban Stavanger, or perhaps it is more tempting to cycle out to Tungenes Fyr, which lies facing the sea on the approach to Stavanger city. There are both car ferries and fast boats to Kvitsøy from the mainland. See below for further to ferry routes. The cycle ride is 34.7 km and we calculate approx. 2 hours non-stop.
